National Lottery Commission (NLC) has hailed Diamond Bank Plc for its continued commitment to enhancing the life style of its customers and the bank’s resolve for rewarding customers’ loyalty through its well thought promotion in the extra package December for Savings Xtra Season 2.
The Director General, National Lottery Commission (NLC), Mr. Peter Igho, noting that despite the distress rocking the banking sector the bank has proved to be among the strongly rated banks in Nigeria that has stood the shock created by the crisis and reform.
Prince Emmanuel Jeminiwa, Deputy Director Regulation/Monitoring of the commission who represented the Director General expressed deep appreciation to the bank for its co-operation for complying to the provision of National Lottery Commission to the latter.
He further commended the bank for consistently rolling out creative and innovative products and services with positive effects on customers experiences. In the December Promo which is an extra package for customers holding the Savings Extra Account, three customers were rewarded with the sum of N5 million and fifteen with the sum of N1 million each respectively, as New Year “gift.” Among the 3 lucky winners are Mr. Ezumah U.M, Reyenieju Daniel, Michael Eze and the fifteen others are Ez Kingsley, Oguine C, Isibor Abraham, Oluwabunmi Olabiran, Ekpo Umoh, Ugwumma Nwokenna, Miracle Destiny, Martina Ugwu, Afeez Ojeleye, Oforka Pius, Nwosu Rose, Emmanuel, Dibua Joseph, Umu Kindred and Akinlade Alade.
Group Head Product/Retail Brand Service of Diamond Bank, Mrs. Angela Okonmah said that the bank has considered it relevant to reward and improve the lots of the customers as the year raps up and to prepare them for the year through the financial reward. According to her, the prize draw is an additional benefit of owning a savings account with Diamond Bank even as all previous features, including interests, terms and conditions of the existing account remain unchanged, noting that a customer can now pay dividend warrant and cheque into Savings Extra account.
Speaking on the mode of the draw, KPMG representative, Mr. John Anyanwu explained the partnership with Diamond Bank and how it ensured that customers that met the rules were fairly rewarded.
He said: “what KPMG does is to independently go into the system of savings account customers, bring out people that put in N5, 000, those who met all the rules for the month and compare with the list brought out by Diamond Bank. Those with multiple N5, 000 get multiple tickets as their chances grow to be qualified for the prizes.”
