BACKGROUND
Keeno was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria in 1986 and started singing from the age of 9 in the church choir. In his journey of artistic discovery, he formed a group in my teenage years singing gospel music.
CAREER
In September 2007, Keeno was discovered by Ekobeats Entertainment International Limited (a UK based record label) and signed a recording contract with the label. Following the agreement, work commenced in January 2008 on his album (THE REBIRTH). In June 2008 the video of his hit single “My Mama” was released. In this timeless, fancy free, heart warming and touching video, he expresses my undying love for my mother (MY ROCK) in the most unadultrated fashion as Africans would normally do. Songs from my Album (The Rebirth) out in stores in Nigeria and on iTunes ( http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=299682810&s=143444 ) pay tribute to all mothers, Nigeria, Nigerian Girls, Uniport Girls, and highlights the daily sufferings of the masses and current state of affairs in Nigeria. He is also singing and sending a message to the powers that be on behalf of the young, marginalised and forgotten.
